June 7, 2021

The pandemic has supercharged employee health and wellness programs. Increasingly, employees are demanding them, while companies, big and small, are recognizing the cost benefits they bring in reduced staff turnover and increased productivity. KnoWEwell dove into the subject in the fascinating May Insight article below.

In keeping with this trend, we’re delighted to welcome the employees of Clarion Technologies of India to KnoWEwell. Their new health and well-being benefit from KnoWEwell will enable them to access all that we have to offer in our global Regenerative Whole Health community and marketplace.

In response to the surge in the prevalence of celiac disease and wheat-related disorders, as well as the pandemic in India, KnoWEwell has launched a monthly educational program with our new collaborative partner, The Celiac Society of India (CSI). Hosted by the renowned gluten specialist and KnoWEwell’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tom O’Bryan, the series will address how to prevent and treat these autoimmune disorders, as well as how to boost your immune system.

We are extremely proud to announce Dr. O’Bryan has had his seminal research and case study published in the International Journal of Celiac Disease. Dr. O’Bryan’s case study involved using his unique functional medicine approach to treat a 16-year-old boy diagnosed with non-responsive celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, short stature, and failure to thrive. This is the first published case of complete reversal of non-responsive celiac disease and failure to thrive using a functional medicine approach in conjunction with a gluten-free diet. Congratulations, Dr. Tom, and thank you for inspiring hope with this wonderful healing success story for the millions suffering with the complexities of celiac disease and other wheat-related disorders. You can find his ground-breaking article here:

Our June line-up of webinars and written content covers the gamut from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to migraines to Alzheimer’s disease and much more.

Celiac Disease and the Dangers of Isolation

As people with celiac disease struggle to maintain a gluten-free diet, dietary restrictions can lead to isolation and withdrawal. Research indicates that having additional medical conditions is associated with a lower quality of life. One study looked at the combined influence of having a chronic disease and perceived quality of life.

Mindfulness Meditation: Tools for Health, Healing, and Well-Being

Approaches to health, healing, and meditation too often begin by first addressing what’s wrong, then progressing towards establishing a beachhead of health, wholeness, and well-being, which are then considered fragile and changeable qualities in need of constant attention in order to keep them intact.
